So I have had my TG5 for about a week now and I am starting to use it more and more. One thing that is a little different with this camera is the fact that it only has one place to mount a strap. Today when I went hiking I found the perfect strap to use on the camera. Pictures below!
I have been using Peak Design straps for a really long time. Their module system makes it easy to take straps on and off your devices and not have to worry about taking the time to take them off of your different devices. There are several different straps in the Peak Design line. The straps range from small thing straps all the way up to large straps that are great for bigger cameras like the EM1-Mkii. The strap that I found worked the best on my TG5 is the Peak Design Leash Camera Strap.
The peak design leash is the smallest in the Peak Design line and it is one of the most versatile. What I love about this strap is the ability to clip the strap to your backpack and have your camera readily available like you can see here:
Also, this strap can be used on cameras with only one mounting point like the TG5 as you can see in the picture below:
Like I mentioned in the beginning of the article, the Peak design system is very modular which is why I keep the peak design anchor clips on all of my gear so I can easily switch back and forth and not have to worry about carrying several straps. I used this strap today as I was hiking with the family and it made it super easy to have access when I needed the camera and it kept it out of the way when I did not.
